Ingredients
- 1.5 kg of flour
- 3 packets of Aleva dry yeast
- 50 ml of milk
- Grated lemon zest
- A little bit of holy water
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 4 egg yolks
- 100 g of melted butter
- 1 egg yolk

Slava baked cake
- Sifted flour should be well mixed with 3 packets of Aleva dry yeast. Add all other ingredients and mix briefly with a mixer on the lowest speed, then for five minutes on the highest speed.
- Once a smooth dough is formed, leave it to rest in a warm place until it visibly rises. Knead the dough briefly on a floured surface.
- Separate a quarter of the dough and set it aside. Shape the remaining dough into a ball, place it in a greased and floured baking pan, and press it lightly. Brush the surface of the bread with egg yolk.
- From the reserved dough, shape decorations such as roses, a cross, a grapevine, and a wheat stalk. Arrange them on top of the bread and press them gently. Let the bread rest for about 20 minutes, then place it in a preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes at 180°C.
