Aleva Ground Spicy Paprika is synonymous with this type of product, and the tradition of its processing and production dates back to the establishment of Aleva’s first facilities. The process of growing and processing the paprika is carried out under the supervision of our expert staff in strictly controlled conditions, ensuring safety from the field to the table.
The product range includes sweet and hot ground paprika, hot crushed “sudžuk” paprika, and smoked paprika. The use of ground paprika achieves specific “functional properties” such as appearance – color, aroma, and flavor.
In addition to its culinary uses, ground paprika, with its characteristic flavor and color, has found its place in the production of many food products where the red-orange color is desired, such as meat products, snack foods, various soups, sauces, and dressings. It is also used in the creation of spicy seasoning blends (e.g., curry) and for obtaining natural colorants and isolating hot components (hot pepper).
Ground paprika, with its distinct and prominent flavor and aroma, enhances appetite and aids in digestion. It contains high amounts of vitamins A and C. It also has certain medicinal properties: it helps reduce body temperature, soothes throat inflammations, supports the digestive and respiratory processes, and alleviates pain.
