Turmeric is intensely yellow in color, with a pleasant aroma, obtained from the root of the plant. It is used for coloring spreads, ice cream, cheeses, cakes, and is added during the preparation of rice, legume, and potato dishes.

Does not contain; may contain traces of mustard.
